Ernest Hemingway Special

5cl Havana Club Añejo 3 Años
3cl Grapefruit Juice
1.5cl Lime Juice
1cl Maraschino Liqueur

Ernest Hemingway needed to use a bathroom.
Or so the story goes. The novelist stopped by Havana’s El Floridita bar, not far from the hotel where he lived during most of the 1930s. On his way out, he noticed the bartender Constantino Ribalaigua Vert, preparing Daiquiris. Never one to walk past a drink, Hemingway took a sip. “Not bad,“ he said. But he preferred his Daiquiri with no sugar and a double portion of rum. The bartender made one as specified, and then named the drink after him.
